Bleed’n’Beatz was my first collaborative project with fellow artist Selena Garcia.
Bleed’n’Beetz was a collaborative project with fellow artist Selena Garcia. Built from the ground up for Nickelodeons ‘Nick Pitch Contest’, revolving around representation and inclusivity!
The story revolves around a group of five kids from diverse backgrounds, who have a passion for loud music and street racing! The main Character Kassiani, is a black deaf musician, and also the racer of the group! This project brought unique challenges that I’ve not encountered before.
Some key challenges were:
Coordinating sign language through storyboards
Style adaption between two artists with very different attributes
Script revisions and coordination
Story editing with music and voice overs.
DEAD HIGHWAY
A personal animatic to explore scene building, comedic timing, and pacing story beats. Following two zombies along the highway casually talking about their next meal, and meeting a new friend along the way.
